London to Amsterdam
by Coach

Eurolines, which is part of the National Express group, has at least one daily coach service from London’s Victoria Coach Station to Amsterdam city centre. Journey time city-to-city is typically about 12 hours, and the one-way fare is usually similar to the cost of a budget flight. If you add in airport taxes and the cost of getting to and from the airports then the coach can work out marginally cheaper.

Eurolines also has a daily coach from London that goes overnight from Victoria Coach Station to Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, should you wish to go there, for some reason, rather than into Amsterdam city centre.

Cheap Coaches from London to Amsterdam (and Brussels)
There is also now a budget bus service from Megabus, going from London to Amsterdam via Brussels. In England the service will start and end in Leicester, with another stop in Milton Keynes on the way from Leicester to London.

In Amsterdam the Megabus service from London will take passengers to the Zeeburg park and ride coach park at Zuiderzeeweg, just outside the Amsterdam city centre. From here there are buses and a tram to take you directly into the city, just ten minutes away.

In Brussels the drop-off point is the Rue du Cardinal Mercier, right next to the central train station in the city centre - another convenient location.
