The best way to get from London to Bath for a day trip is by train. It takes about 90 minutes but the bus takes at least twice as long. The bus is much cheaper but in order to make the most of your day in Bath, we recommend paying more for the train. Driving is difficult because much of the city centre is closed to traffic so it's not the best city for driving in for visitors.
