It's easy and cheap to get from London to Toulouse by bus using the Megabus service which began operating in summer 2014. The service runs from London to Paris, then Toulouse, and finally reaching its end destination, Barcelona. Cheap fares are available for as little as one euro (plus a 50-cent booking fee).

Toulouse is the fourth-largest city in France and has the country's third-largest university campus. It is home to the European aerospace industry and has the largest space centre in Europe.

Dates and Times of Operation
Tickets went on sale in June 2014 with the first service scheduled to operate from London's Victoria Coach Station on Monday July 7th, 2014, with the first return from Toulouse the following day. There will be one through service per day. 

Services leave London at 10.30am and arrive in Toulouse at 6.25am the next day. There's a one-hour time difference between London and Toulouse.

The return journey leaves Toulouse at 9.30pm and arrives in London at 6pm the next day.

Journey Time
Journey time from London to Toulouse will be 19 hours, with a further 5½ hours from Toulouse to Barcelona. The journey time includes the English Channel crossing and a break in Paris. Travelling from London to Toulouse the break in Paris is 3 hours, and on the Toulouse to London journeys the break in Paris will be just over 4 hours.

The coaches provide a free WiFi service, air-conditioning and toilets.

And Additional Stops
The buses make three additional stops between Paris and Toulouse, in Bessines-sur-Gartempe and Brive-la-Gaillarde. Note that you can book tickets between these destinations too. You don't have to make the full bus journey from London to Toulouse. 

Arriving in Toulouse
Buses arrive in Toulouse at the Gare Routiere on Boulevard Pierre Semard, which is about a 20-minute walk from the city centre. There is also a Metro station at the train station, which is adjacent to the bus station.

Extra London-Toulouse Service

The demand for the London-Paris-Toulouse-Barcelona coach has been so high that an extra service has been added in each direction from 11/12 August 2014.

The extra service will leave London at 9pm, arrive in Paris at 8am the next morning (local time), reach Toulouse at 6.25pm and Barcelona at 11.55pm.

The return service leaves Barcelona at 6am, leaves Toulouse at 11.30am, and arrives in Paris at 8pm. It then leaves Paris at 10.30pm (time for a quick Parisian supper!), and arrives in London at 7.30am (local time).
