London to Windsor

Is Bus, Train or Driving Best?

Going from London to Windsor is one of the most popular and easy day trips out of London, as everyone wants to see Windsor Castle, the home of the Queen. In fact visitors to London often see the castle before they arrive, as one of the flight paths into Heathrow Airport goes over Windsor and there are lovely views on a clear day.

If you have a few hours of stop-over time at Heathrow Airport you could also visit Windsor, as it's only just over ten miles away from the airport and you could get a taxi there and back.
